Islamic Chat (“we”, “us”, “our”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and your rights.
1. What We Collect
- Account info: Email address, name (if provided), and profile picture (if using Google Sign‑in).
- Chat history: Your questions and AI responses are stored to improve the model and for your conversation continuity.
- Usage data: Number of chats per day, premium status, feature usage (to optimize performance).
- Payment info: Processed by Freemius (third‑party). We do not store credit card details.
2. How We Use Data
- To provide and improve AI answers.
- To manage your premium subscription.
- To send essential service emails (e.g., payment receipts, account verification).
- To prevent abuse and enforce daily limits.
3. Data Sharing
We never sell your data. We share only when required:
- With Supabase (database hosting) – encrypted.
- With Freemius (payment processing) – only what’s necessary for subscription.
- With Google (if you sign in via Google) – as per Google’s OAuth terms.
- If required by law.
4. Your Rights
You can request deletion of your account and all associated data by emailing support@islamicchat.online. You may also export your chat history.
5. Cookies
We use local storage for authentication tokens and preferences. No third‑party tracking cookies are used.
6. Children
Islamic Chat is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect their data.
7. Changes
We will notify users of material changes via email or a notice in the app.
